Abby the Dog needs a home

Abby is a golden-colored hound/lab retriever mix. She will be 5 in April. 60 lbs. She was turned in from a home at the beginning of the year because of financial issues. The owner left a lot of info about her. He called her "a great dog". He said that she has never been aggressive, and is calm and quiet. She's good on car rides. She's friendly to strangers, but will bark to alert you that someone's at the door.  She is active and likes to play with other dogs.


She's good with kids, but not with cats or birds- she's a hunter at heart. Leash trained and house trained.  She rode very nicely in the crate when we picked her up at the shelter at hour away.  She was adopted from B&B as a pup and we were happy to accept her back.  Very youthful gal!

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
